HISTORY OF THE CURÉ NANTAIS
The history begins during year 1880,
in a small village on the banks of
the Loire named St Julien-de-Concelles.
On the advice of a priest,
Pierre Hivert
invent a cheese named :
"le Régal des Gourmets".
Few years later,
the cheese name became "le Curé Nantais"
in tribute to the holy man, .
